WHEEL & CUSTOM CHROME PLATING

Paramount Process

Our process chrome/rechromed is based on two (2) different scenarios.
  • FOR CHROME PLATING
  • Chrome plating, the wheel(s) is currently stripped from its' original paint via paint strip. (kolene/sandblast)
  • The wheel(s) are polished to a high luster including entire face and/or inside of windows/pockets of wheel(s) and are prepped for copper plating.
  • The wheel(s) are entirely copper plated in our 1900 gal. tank for 1 hour.
  • The wheel(s) are copper buffed (in same detail as the polish is performed).
  • The wheel(s) are nickel plated 40mins (in same fashion as copper detail).
  • The wheel(s) are finalized with a substantial chrome plated finish.
  •
  • FOR reCHROME PLATING
  • For rechrome plating, the wheel(s) is currently stripped from any existing chrome, copper, nickel
with (muriatic and sulfuric solvents). Necessary to remove such finishes. Sandblast is also conducted if
applicable. (Sandblast is recommended if there are signs of heavy corrosion on wheel(s) or pitting.
  • The same process is conducted as regular chrome plating for the entire process on
    rechromed wheel(s).
